Grade A home-style cooking with a unique atmosphere. Service was top notch and my dinner of baked meatloaf was everything I’d hoped for!

First time stopping in, and well worth it! I had the prime rib special, it was the 2nd best I've ever had, 1st goes to my mom. The staff was so friendly, it was so comfortable, everyone was having a real good time, you could tell. I'll be going back real soon! It's no further than the restaurants in LaVale, either! Two energetic thumbs up!!!

Honestly, they’re every bit as good as what I’ve had at coastal seafood spots. It’s a rare find, and they do it right. Breakfast is another home run. My go-to is eggs, sausage, and toast — simple, classic, and always spot-on. My wife swears by the chipped beef over home fries, and it’s become her comfort food favorite. Portions are generous, everything’s made fresh, and the coffee hits the spot. Their burgers? Absolutely fantastic. Juicy, flavorful, and cooked just the way you like them. It’s real food, made by people who care — and you can taste the difference. To top it all off, Chat-n-Chew typically hosts two car shows a year, and the turnout is always impressive. It’s more than just a meal — it’s a community hangout where good food and good people come together. This is the best food and service in the whole keyser and western Maryland area. Seriously!! They are consistent. You go there!! You won't regret it!!

My husband and I have wanted to stop at this restaurant and just never have. We have drove passed it for several years in our travels. I must say we was very impressed. It's really pretty inside. The waiter was very friendly and our food was delicious. We had the Primerib and a couple starters. See pictures.

my friend & i talk about stopping here each time we pass it, today we finally did. We could not have been more happy with the service & food. I got the Marylander sandwich (chicken w/ crab cake & old bay mayo) it was excellent. Their prices are too good to beat especially nowadays. We spent less here than fast food!! The type of place I love to support & come back to!!
